Hit by a Boomerang (the prodigal son)

Today I must keep record of one of those moments when you put too much enthusiasm in something and you fail.

One year ago I saw in Facebook a photo of a FB contact and the beard and facial expression reminded me about a Spartan Soldier.

This guy is a wellknown photographer

While gimping the photo I found out this perspective of the helm and I adopted it.

I sent the painting to this guy but he did not manage to get it in the post office!

Or whatever.

Now I wait to see the prodigal son back home. I will replace the photo with a better one.

...and this is my place after 50 days, I really enjoy this place. Recently I spent many hours making statues. The subject is the non-communicating human being. Without arms to have contact with each other, looking at real life with a sort of surprise. I post a photo of the one I made for Nuria.

No news good news

Lakewise, 2012

Back to the blog to record good news from Meneer Stilfanti.
I will make a wall in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and I finally found a place to think bigger. My own garage! I will start making my own canvasses with the help of a friend, Miguel Angel. When you choose to perform some kind of art, self esteem is really important. Well, my canvas-buiding assistant is called Michelangelo.....
We will start a little business by making canvasses for other local artists and are already involved in business planning. 

The image is one of my favourite painting "Lakewise" v1, from 2012. In Veraventi we have a special place below the skylight where to put books flowers and paintings. See you soon.

I didn't study sculpture at StMartin's college

..but I started anyway this new joke. With a stimulating huge failure. "The armless man collapsing for his weight".

Everything seems to be going well

Already in the bin, but I foresaw the end of it and I will keep trying. Without messing around so much, and a couple of lessons learnt.

Noche en Blanco

Tonight here in Gúímar the Noche en Blanco (white night) will take place. Artisans will show their creations in the streets of our town.

The stand

  Nurietta is going to sell her fantastic hand made bijoux and I will bring some t-shirt I just made for the event.

I helped by making her craft's boxes.

Focaccia is already in the oven. 

Due to the windy weather I won't bring any painting, I am still lacking some infrastructure..

 When we decided to leave the place, back to Veraventi I enjoyed a private acoustic never-before-released version of la Mirada del Cocodrilo by el Sueño. As usual sharing ideas project opinions experiences with David is having really good time.
